2022 Group Paddle Opportunities

• Monday Evening Mixed Paddles – Facilitated by Gail & Mike Ondreski. These trips are on Monday evenings starting at 6 PM. All genders are welcome. A schedule will be posted on ICORE’s website once created. These paddles are on local lakes around Mercer (some may be in northern Iron County or other nearby counties). After the paddle participants are welcome to join the group at either a local dining establishment or a participant’s home.
• Wednesday Looney Paddler outings– Facilitated by Kit Bogenschneider. These are women powered paddles (women only).Start time varies usually around 8 AM and return to Mercer around 2 or 3 PM. A different river and sometimes lake is chosen to paddle. Participants are encouraged to carpool since distances can be far and parking can be limited at the boat launches. River paddles range from slow meandering to class one or two rapids. Kit is an excellent guide and teacher. All skill levels welcome, come and enjoy a paddle with the ladies.
• Friday Mixed paddles – Also organized by Kit Bogenschneider. These paddles are similar to the Wednesday events but include women and men. Participants meet around 8 AM and return to Mercer by 2 or 3 PM. Friday paddles are usually on lakes or flat water.
