The Iron County Land & Water Conservation Department will host “Conservation on Tap” at The Pines Beer Garden in Mercer. This lecture series is held monthly June-August and hosts guest lecturers on a variety of conservation topics. Each talk is about an hour with time for Q&A following.
June 13: Beaver Ecology
Beavers hold the title for being the largest rodent in North America and with recent population increasing in the Northwoods beavers are on the minds of many landowners and land managers. Come join Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources game manager Jenna Kosnicki as she shares her knowledge of beavers and the pros and cons of having them on the landscape.
