Frog Lake and Pines old-growth hike
Mercer naturalists John Bates and Mary Burns will lead two old-growth hikes in the Frog Lake and Pines State Natural Area on August 16, 2019.
Experience the beauty of an old-growth forest at Frog Lake and Pines SNA. Hike the one-mile trail that winds through stands of white pine and red pine, and marvel at some trees more than 3-feet in diameter. Explore a stretch of Frog Lake’s pristine shoreline.
