Hurley Learning Adventure Trail

The Hurley Learning Adventure Trail is a project of the Hurley K12 school. This interactive trail includes signage from Plantsmap.com, which allows visitors to scan a QR code to learn more about the plants in this native northwoods ecosystem.

The Hurley Learning Adventure Trail includes 3 separate loops ranging from .36 miles to .94 miles in length. Students and staff from Hurley School have created information pages about many of the plants identified on the trail, including Anishinaabe names for many of the plants and Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK) when possible.
