Looney Hikers

Our group meets once a week on Wednesdays usually at 9:30am at whatever trailhead we will be hiking or snowshoeing.  Generally, the hikes are 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 hours long. We will hike during the fall and spring seasons from October through March.  Snowshoeing will be during winter when and if there is enough snow.  Hiking lengths are anywhere from 2-5 miles.  We tend to do trails that are more up and down with some flat terrain.  Snowshoeing is generally a shorter trip, about 2 to 3 miles. The weekly outings are posted on;  ICORE Iron County Outdoor Recreation Enthusiasts website, ICORE Facebook  and on  ICORE Meetup .The weekly hike/snowshoe is determined by the group leader, Karen Teliszczak, but suggestions are always welcome. This is a mixed gender activity.
