Tillicum Conservation Area Snowshoe Hike

Join Northwoods Land Trust (NWLT) for this free guided snowshoe hike on Tuesday, January
24 from 1-3 pm at the Tillicum Conservation Area just off Route 182 in the town of Sherman in
Iron County. According to Troy Walters, NWLT Outreach Coordinator, “This 121+ acre
property donated in 2021 touches 3 lakes and is open to the public. Traveling on snowshoes will
allow good access to these beautiful lakes, especially to the east parcel on Stone Lake.”
Participants will be snowshoeing off trail on both lakes and rolling topography for around 3
miles. Participants need to bring their own snowshoes. To register for the event, please contact
the NWLT office at 715-479-2490 or email troy@northwoodslandtrust.org by Friday, Jan 20.
Space is limited.
