ICORE/Heritage Chapter North Country Trail Hike

COPPER FALLS STATE PARK NORTH END
The hike will be through OLDER FOREST and include views of the BAD RIVER. The distance of the hike will be determined by the hikers.

Where to meet: Copper Falls State Park Entrance- 36683 Copper Falls Rd, Mellen, WI 54546

This hike is a joint event sponsored by the Heritage Chapter of the North Country Trail Association and ICORE (Iron County Outdoor Recreation Enthusiasts). We will be meeting at the front entrance at Copper Falls, then driving to Will Road for the hike. at Copper Falls State Park in Mellen. From there we will hike the North Country Trail approximately 6 miles (or shorter if you choose) “out & back” in the northern end of Copper Falls State Park. Keep in mind that you should have a Wisconsin Parks pass sticker on your car.

This is a fun and casual event and dress appropriately for dirt trails. Bring water and snacks as desired.
