ICORE Winter Fun Snowshoe Event with Lunch

Last year we had to cancel this awesome adventure because the ice was not safe enough to snowshoe the section of the trail that crosses the Turtle Flambeau Flowage. Alas, this year we are golden to do it! It is a beautiful snowshoe that provides you with a view & experience you will not forget. The Turtle Flambeau Flowage is often referred to as the “Jewel of the North” and in winter it is a winter wonderland. Our adventure starts at Paulik’s Portage trail off of Popko Circle E (there will be a flag on the roadside identifying this spot) where we will park our cars and head on the canoe portage trail for about 1.1 miles snowshoeing a section on the flowage to arrive at Campground F-16. At the campsite a roaring campfire with a yummy lunch will be waiting for you to enjoy. After lunch and some good conversation we will head back the same way we came but the view looks entirely different. Hope to see you there!
