ICORE WORK BEE AT NEW TOWN OF MERCER TRAIL

April 28, 2024

Goal of Work Bee is to improve the new trail on the Town of Mercer property. 

  1. Improve the route
  2. Install directional arrows and more ribbons
  3. Cut back pines, raspberry and blackberries thickets
  4. Rake trail so it is easier to follow
  5. Remove woody debris
  6. Remove small fallen trees from the trail.

When: May 11, 2024

Time: 10 am

Where to meet: Trailhead of Deadhorse Trails.

Directions:

  1. From Hwy 51 (Near the Cranberry Inn) turn onto  County Hwy FF
  2. Take Hwy FF for about  5.5 miles
  3. Turn left onto Popko Circle West   (NOT Popko Cir. E)
  4. Take Popko Cir. West for about 1.5 miles
  5. Trailhead will be on your left.

What to bring: Gloves, Water, and a snack.
