LAKE SUPERIOR HIKE NORTH COUNTRY TRAIL

When: SAT. OCT. 3, 10:00 am

Bethany Thomas (Wisconsin Master Naturalist &
NCT Heritage Chapter President) will be your
guide. Hike the trails of the newly acquired
National Park Service property in northern Iron
County located east of Saxon Harbor. Beautiful
hardwood and hemlock forest with views of Lake
Superior. Property is located on the West side of
the gorgeous Superior Falls. Hiking terrain is flat. Bring lunch, water, snacks, rain
gear and bug repellent. Plan for a 2 + hour hike (2 miles).
Directions:From Hurley WI: Take US 2 to Hwy 122 turn right,(North) and travel
4.5 miles just before Montreal River park. We’ll meet on Hwy 122. Please look for
