Snapshot Wisconsin
Snapshot Wisconsin uses volunteers across Wisconsin to monitor wildlife using a network of trail cameras. It is a unique opportunity for the public to get involved in monitoring Wisconsin’s wildlife. Volunteers are now needed in Iron, Vilas, Price, and several other counties.
To volunteer with Snapshot Wisconsin you’ll need access to a property with at least 10 acres, have basic computer skills, and be willing to complete training and commit to maintaining the provided equipment. For more information on how you can volunteer to host a trail camera, visit the application.
Volunteers are also needed to help tag photos from Snapshot Wisconsin on Zooniverse. This is a fun way you can contribute to the data on wildlife in Wisconsin. Check it out!
