Work continues at Saxon Harbor

Work continues at Saxon Harbor. Parker and Oronto Creeks are cleaned out, armored with rock, and the banks reseeded. Please stay out of the area as work progresses, the facility is closed. Someone decided to drive across the fresh topsoil last night. There is much work yet to be done and having to redo work takes additional time and money! Thank you for your patience.

Remember that Saxon Harbor is still closed to repair the damage from severe storms in summer 2016. Keep an eye on their Facebook page for the latest news and photos from the construction work or the Iron County Foresty & Parks website for official announcements.
